This site is named after our beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog, Ozzie.
Although he was only with us a relatively short time, he had a huge impact on Sheryl and me - and everyone who met this gentle giant.
Sadly he passed away September 25, 2006; he had been diagnosed in early January with Osteosarcoma and died a few months short of his fifth birthday.
While not intended to be a memorial to Oz, this site is a celebration of life in general.
We hope that you enjoy it!

December 19...
Today would have been Ozzie's 5th birthday.
I promised that this was not going to be specifically a memorial site for him, but a place where we could celebrate and talk about life and things that happen.
I also promised to show a picture of Ozzie when he was a little (it's all relative) pup.
So, without further ado, here he is on the day we met him at 5 weeks old. A little barrel of a boy.
It is absolutely amazing how another life-form, a "creature" on this planet has somehow connected his very soul with countless others -- yes, that's right; I said his soul, his spirit -- his very life force.
Physically, this gentle giant is no longer with us, but I know in my heart, that shall be in touch with him spiritually, forever.
The joy, love, and so much more beyond words, that I experienced by looking into his incredible eyes from my computer's monitor every day, helped me through 1 1/2 years of chemo/drug therapy.
There is no doubt in my mind that we are all creatures of our universe, we are all family, we are all one of GOD's creations.
Happy Birthday, Ozzie!
